Well, I'm a first-generation owner, and I can't see parting with my 56j for another 4/4 CC. I get almost all of the sound I want out of it, and it's very nimble. It's only the loudest .1% of excerpts where I wish there was a litte more. I suspect that it's more me than the horn, because I have a very difficult time in overblowing it. The only complaint, as I've stated before, is that the 5th valve is not good. The sound that comes out of it is great, but there's no guarantee that the valve will return once it's been depressed. I'll probably be paying a visit to Lee Stofer the first chance I can get in the Atlanta area in the hopes that all it needs is a good lapping.

But I'm still enthralled with the sound I get out of it, and can't ever see myself going back to a German rotary.
