I'm studying with Dr. Bowman at UNT, and since I've been there I have heard a lot on this topic. I agree with everything already said, but I think the most important thing that would help you would to be build up to at least double the time in the practice room. IMHO, you are experiencing the endurance problems because you are required to play longer than you prepare to play. It's like running 5 miles when you've only been running 2. As far as the high register, I like the section in the back of the Allen Vizzutti's trumpet method, book 1. The entire book is fantastic, check it out. For challenging rhythms and high register work, check out David Uber's Twenty two etude book, you can get it at tuba/euph press.
