I have noticed lately that when someone asks about a horn or mouthpiece, there are always plenty of responses. Unfortunately, many of those responding have never played, and often never even seen in person the horn on which they are commenting. Because of this, good horns can easily get a bad rap based on nothing more than gossip. I know that I am nobody in authority, but I would like to kindly propose the following:
If you haven't actually played a horn don't comment about it.
I myself will also make a concerted effort to practice what I preach.
