Low cost binaural mikes from Core-Sound. Nice, mini-stereo mikes for $75. I use them, and now that I have my external preamp with my recorder, they record with a very nice full, clear sound.
I have also heard that you can get nice mini-mikes from ( I think ) Panasonic for like $20-$30, but I am only going on what I was told. Some people buy the parts from an electronics store, and build their own mikes for under $10-$15 and get pretty decent results.
