1970s Besson 3-valve compensating EEb tuba. Lacquer with numerous dings
and evidence of past repairs. This horn was purchased from S. Gagney a few
years ago with a shortened main tuning slide. This horn isn't pretty, but it plays
well and is in tune. With Denis Wick 3 mouthpiece (silver plate) and custom
Altieri gig bag. Local buyers only (I'm in NYC metro area and will not ship horns).
$900 firm (and fair).
Ca. 1960 Conn 3 valve Eb tuba (3/4). Lacquer with a some dings. In very good
playing condition. No mouthpiece, no case. $400. Same shipping restrictions.
Ca. 1980s Amati 4 valve tenorhorn/baritone. Lacquer. In good playing condition.
With DW mouthpiece and so-so gig bag. $350. Same deal.
Will discount prices for sale of multiple horns. I'm heading back to graduate school
in the fall and playing in community band has lost its appeal.
