I have had a problem develop, for which am hoping I can get help from this group. I've been taking euphonium lessons since September. I have a dental bridge which replaces my (missing) top four center upper teeth. It came out, and was damaged, a couple of days ago. I have had it cemented back in temporarily while a new bridge is being constructed. I am a little concerned that the vibration of playing helped loosen the bridge.
My questions are:
1.Does anyone have any information on whether playing can loosen bridgework located at this critical (for playing) place?
2. I've heard that some players have a plastic device they insert in their mouth when playing. Does anyone know anything about these?
