very simple:
As a beginner, you should DEFINATELY play on a Bb trumpet. You could read tuba music (up two octaves) with the same fingering on your trumpet, no funny business. You WILL need to learn to read music written in treble clef for a Bb trumpet; there's no two ways about that- if you want to play trumpet, learn to read the music. It'll come easier than you think.
The Bb scale on your tuba will *sound the same* and have the *same fingerings* as your C scale on a BBb trumpet. This is the easiest AND only practical solution to your question.
