The people who are supposed to be producing it are busy doing clinics and conferences and concertts and junk. I don't wanna be cynical, but the "quarterliness" of the publication (as I recall) was designed to make it easier for busy musicians to put the thing out. What happened?? What happened in MY case was I quit membership some years ago. Although I have missed it from time-to-time, for the most part I have survived. Perhaps if this type of sentiment were a little more common, or at least expressed a little more often, the current keepers of T.U.B.A. would take the quarterly a little more seriously, and get on the stick with other people's dues money I.M.H.O.
No criticism meant, but its a perspective that needs to be said.
