I was once in your shoes. I say go used all the way. Unless you play a new horn you absolutely love, a used horn is fine, sometimes even better. I bought new horns twice only to find an even better, cheaper used horn shortly after my purchase. I won't buy new again UNLESS I love the horn. You may have to wait just a little longer to find one, but I would recommend a used horn if possible. Whatever floats your boat, man!!!
