I got a 6/4 holton trash can a couple months ago and I'm enjoying it.
'Round these parts, we play most of our chamber music stuff, and nearly all
our solo stuff on F. My PT-10 is pretty flexible, and so far I haven't felt
constrained by having only a monster BFT. Still, if I were to play the
Hindemith or any other C solo rep, I may borrow a friend's 4/4 or 3/4.
