I agree with the other responder about Phil Parker. His is the only comprehensive lower brass shop in central London and the staff are more than willing to let you play their stuff. The shop is a couple of blocks south of a major tube stop (Baker Street) in northwest central London. They always have the latest Besson tubas and also have a few CCs. I was in London for four months and went there every other week or so to play a used B&S CC tuba. They let me use their basement to practice. It's a short walk (5 - 10 minutes) south and then west of the Baker Street tube stop.
