Thanks, it's not that I have this problem now on my horn, it's too new to start messing up on me just yet. But this is a question I've had since 94', the last time I played a piston tuba, and that was a school horn so the valves were noisy.
Further more, I've got a student with a crapy school horn and I didn't really know what to do. I think it bothers me more than him.
