I got mine in '74 new. It has great intonation and a real sweet sound. Put some (trumpet) slide stops on first and fourth valve slides, stripped the bell lacquer (that was the only mistake, but EVERYONE was doing it...)

I don't play it anymore, though, because I have moved on to other horns which give me bigger sounds for my current needs (Including a MW 2165). But it got me through many a concert!

It would be a great horn for someone though--I just have to bring myself to parting with it!
