The oval spats DO look nice, but they curve down at the end. I seem to have more of an incidence of my fingers slipping when I'm not paying attention. At least with the flat spats, I'll just frack the note and not necessarily miss the pitch. Tomayto...tomahto. I guess I could wrap the spats with rubber bands...
