Don't forget Varese used it lots,
Ameriques, Arcana, Integrales, and I think a few others,
I played with the Eastman trombone choir and a few times with the Eastman Wind Ensemble on an Alexander contra, pitched in F single slide double trigger that was real tough to control, but not a bad horn. I did not like the Miafone at all, it didn't focus very well. The best one I encountered was made by Thein (german brass maker) but it's prett expensive (I think like $7000). I did OK on it (if you check out the new Eastman Trombone chior disc, when it comes out you can tell me how I sound){esp. check out the last note of the Bach Passicaglia, LOW C woo hoo, it was me and two other basses} but I know many a tuba player who could barely get a sound out on it. (hmmm.... go figure).
e-mail me if you have any questions.
:-)
Bill
