There was a thread recently about the relationship between the Sanders label used by Custom Music and the original Sander (Saender, Sanders, Sandner) tubas. Apparently, the former was created to harken back to the latter, and there the connection stops. The current Sanders label is just that--the instruments are made by whoever Custom chooses--usually Amati/Cerveny, but also other makers.
