Short answer: No.

Did you try all the horns that were available or take what Fred sent you from Custom? There is an enormous amount of variance in the quality of tubas available--even when they're all supposed to be the same. Sometimes a new horn requires a new mouthpiece. I've found a Dillon M1C to be a good B+S/PT CC mouthpiece and a Conn Heleberg isn't bad on their Fs. If you're switching from rotors to pistons or Vs. Versa that may be causing some of the changes too. . .
