A little experiment

I'm curious about tuning sensitivity. How small a movement of your tuning slide can you notice? Suppose you play for a while, getting all warmed up and tuned the way you like it: Then a trusted assistant moves your tuning slide in or out by a few millimeters (or not at all!) and then you play some more, using an electronic tuner or other pitch reference if you like. Without looking at the slide or feeling it with your hand, you have to tell the assistant whether it was moved, and if so, which way. What is the smallest movement that you can detect in this way, say nine times out of ten? If anyone has the courage and patience to do this experiment and report the results, please mention the key of your instrument. This is not a contest; it's more like a poll. Please remember that moving the slide yourself is not valid.
