Hey, I was also at the Frankfurt Music Messe, and I also tried out the Besson CC. I'm not sure if it's THE CC you're talking about (it was the one with the big dent in the bottom bow), but nevertheless, I had a really disturbing problem with the horn:
I could not get a "high" F to sound on it, no matter what I did. And I'm positive it wasn't my fault, because I got the same note to sound perfectly on about 10 other horns I tried that day. I mean, I tried everything. I even tried starting on the F# and G above that note (both of which worked perfectly) and coming down to it chromatically. No dice. It just refused to come out. Did anybody else have this same problem?
