I really enjoyed the charts in the Summer 1980 TUBA Journal that corresponded with the article. However, one thing that I didn't really like was the fact that the charts had no headings with them. I had to refer back to the text and weed through it in order to tell what each chart was for. I'm one of those people who never really reads any articles, I just look at the pictures. Another thing I might have done was rather then refer to number of semitones, just have a column with 4 sub columns that actual names the names of the notes for each of the key tubas F,Eb,CC and BBb (or euphonium). For instance on a BBb tuba rather then refer to the ninth semitone lower just refer to the note D. This then saves the reader the hassle of having to count down the number of semitones to figure out what note you are talking about.
