Our Music Dept. bought four of those suckers last year. I can't stand to play the thing. For a new horn, I was NOT impressed at all. The valves are slow, it's really hard to center the notes, and it's uncomfortable to hold. I spent some time on it and couldn't get it to do what I wanted it to do. It overblew pretty easily past a good Forte. The low register isn't real solid. The overall sound isn't too bad, though. For a high school band horn, it would be OK, but for college players I would go with King Arthur in saying, "Run awaayyyy, run awaaayy!!!"
