Yes, but you make the common mistake of believing that an item is worth whatever the MOST interested party is willing to pay. In fact, it is worth just a bit more than what the SECOND MOST interested party would pay.
It's kind of like that old story about the two campers who hear a mountain lion outside the tent. One of them starts to put on his sneakers. The other says "you can't outrun that cougar!" The guy with the shoes says "I don't have to. I just have to outrun YOU."
