ok, I know from my knowledge of acoustics that the fucus point on a elipse (concert hall) will be the point where all the sound is focused after bouncing in the eliptical shape, but this is only successful if the sound is pure passing. So, my question is, for instrumeents like say the french horn becasue of the conical mouthpiece of the tuba becasue of the depth of tone and wavelength of sound, would it be more beneficial for the horn to be placed at the foci of the hall, being that the sound will billow instead of travelling at linear locations.
