I bought a big Sear-Cervany from a tubist in New York named Patrick Mills many years ago. It had been modified in exactly that way. He claimed that he was pleased with the modification, but I did not have anything to compare it with. He may have been just trying to sell me the horn. I don't think it made a noticable difference. Remember, the third and fourth valves have much longer tubing than the second and first. I suspect that difference is much more significant than the difference in rotation. When you pop that 4th valve down you suddenly have to get a lot of air moving in the pipe, regardless of which way the rotor turned.
