I think if you were to shave every day, that this problem may clear up. I do play with a very wet embouchure, but if I grow facial hair and then shave and play the same day, my skin asorbs all moisture making the mouthpiece sticky to my chops. I think if you tryed shaving everyday with a good razor (Mach III), not an electric, that your skin adapts well enough to maintain a constant feel. That is why I gave up facial hair and shave everyday, so that I have a consistant feel to my chops whereas facial hair feels different day to day even if wel taken care of.
