Second on the Sovereign. I like the sound of it when it is played by a good player, i.e. Sheridan, Phil Sinder, and the others I don't know about yet... For a compensating horn, I think it works very well once you get all those slides in the right place.
I also really liked the new PT-22. If I ever replace my Besson, it will be with this horn.
Check them all out though, and find what works for you as a player. I love e-flat tuba, and although I want to learn F as well, as a solo instrument the e-flat has lots of advantages, especially with the openness in the low range. (At least the way I hear it.)
