I was reading Philip Farkas' The Art Of Horn Playing last night , he mentiones that one should find the most normal mouthpiece possible (say,a Bach 18) and stay with it until it is mastered,I find it very helpful..
A Bach would cost around $50..
And forget about the "cure all mouthpiece" also ..better sound comes from a better player..not a better mouthpiece..
