Marty, what is the similarity between the Willson Eb and F tubas? I prefer the F for a bass tuba, and the Willson F is the best big F I've ever played, with all the qualities Jay has ascribed to his Eb--particularly the ability to sound like a contrabass. I've not seen them side by side. Are they essentially the same horn?
