I know this is bordering on gaining worthless information, but out of curiosity, I was wondering if there's any way to get a manufacturing date on my older 3/4 Rudy Meinl CC. It seems like it's heavier than the new 4/4 model I played at Ft. Myer, and the much of the lacquer is worn off. Besides that, I know they don't have serial #'s, so I was curious about any characteristic markings that would be particular to a certain era of manufacture.
