If your horn is laquered, shine it up with lemon pledge. Not only does this stuff work miracles with stain removal, but it will also remove any of that green buildup on the bare brass where the laquer has worn off. It makes your horn smell good, too.
If its silver, use Hagerty's spray polish in the light blue can. It stinks like nothing else, but it does the job. There is a kind in a pink can, too, but i haven't seen it in several years so i don't know what was different about it.
If your horn is Nickel plated, just scrape it with 5 cent pieces (just kidding!!!)
I guess the hagerty's OR Pledge would work.
