A 104 is similar in size to a 103 and a 105 and is an extremely lightweight horn. It does indeed share the same case as a 105, but if I'm not mistaken, it has a smaller bore size. The ones that I played in college were convertible and had terribly fragile and fidgety leadpipes for both concert and marching. A unique feature about the marching leadpipe on a 104 was that you could set the horn up for right-hand OR left-hand use, which was really useful when the drill writer had you charging towards your blind side in a show as you could move your blind side! A 104 is a very tiny horn with rather iffy intonation, so it wouldn't be a great concert horn, and I also remember being able to overblow one rather easily. $700 for a cleaned up, dent-free horn doesn't sound too out of whack.
