I have a Winnie the Pooh book entitled "the marching band". Pooh plays the sousaphone in the band as they march through the hundred acre wood. Since he sees daddy play sousaphone on occassion, it has become one of my son's favorites. Another good one is a book called "Meet the Orchestra" by John Forsithe. It has a story and illustration for every instrument commonly found in a full orchestra.
I know this sounds mushy, but "night-night books" and bedtime prayer with my 2 year-old son are the highlights of my day. I'm always on the lookout for another good book for him. Good thread...
