I'm currently involved in making a studio recording of a tuba quartet. Does anyone have any specific suggestions for microphone placement for such an ensemble? We are recording digitally and have some decent equipment at our disposal. Any suggestions regarding mike placement, number of mikes, ensemble seating position, etc. would be helpful.
