Microsoft Access does a very nice job. Arrange it by tune, composer, arranger, instrumentation, type of piece, copyright date, publish date, cost, value, etc etc... just about any way you wish. A relational database like Access will allow you to search by any field. I had a demo of a program called Pyware that is useful for band directors to track tunes, equipment, and students. You can find it at www.pyware.com
