Here are some experiments I did to my own horn:
1. Added a bell ring
2. Improved the amount of solder in the ferrules that hold the branch to the bow and the bow to the bell. Made a huge improvement in the horn.
3. Monsterweights! The greatest invention in the history of mankind.
4. removed lacquer from bow and bell.
I thought all of these improved the qualities of my Piggy. I've done other things like adding a 2nd valve trigger, but that helps some low tuning issues more than it helps the sound.
