Jim Self taught me a really cool one.
you just play a chromatic scale (starting on your horns pitch center in the staff [Bb-C]). Play up to the top and instead of just starting back down again, play this:
On a CC tuba:
C-B-C-B-C-B (the first C is when you arrive at the top)and then start back down.
On a BBb tuba:
Bb-A-Bb-A-Bb-A (same as above)
Proceed chromatically upwards until you reach your ranges end. Also try buzzing this
excercise.
