I like them both. But both have different sounds and playing characteristcs.
Both play in tune as well. The 2341 has a slighlty freer bottom when playing the F, E, Eb, D and Db an octave below the staff in the pedal range. Both are very agile in the upper register.

It really is a matter of do you dislike the larger stainless pistons to the King standard pistons? A few of the 3301's and most of the 2341 pistons need lapping.

Do you like the sound of the 3301 or the 2341? They are both different and it comes to playing both side by side in a big hall to see which sound you really like the best.

The 3301 has a few more high end features that would make it more pro than the 2341 and it is just a few $100 more and very close depending on where you buy it.

They are both very good tubas. Both are worth the money. I have no problems suggesting either when looking to buy one of the best piston BBb's on the market for the money.
