I've heard there are two or three of these that were made at the same time,
before the "experimental phase" kicked in when they played around with three-bow
designs and the like. If ANYone has been seriously shopping for a big York-style 6/4 horn,
and if this horns plays ANYthing like my Holton CC (the horn G. Meinl used to pattern the earliest 2165's after) you DO owe it to yourself to contact Daniel! If I had a full-time gig and needed to keep two BATs around, I would certainly check this one out!
