I have a chinese euphomium. the second valve on A below middle C is flat. Nothing I can do corrects it short of obscure fingerings using the 4th valve.
I am thinking of trying to shorten the second valve tube with a rotary cutting tool. That would bring the pitch up. Would somebody please talk me out of it and give me a better solution that these two?
I also have an alto horn and would like to find the hindemith alto horn concerto. does anyon have it? please reply to my email above. THANKS!
