Are there typical symptoms for a "too-short" leadpipe, (sharp low register, flat high register, etc.) besides overall sharpness? Also, how does the number of valves relate to leadpipe length? I've questioned the length of my horns' leadpipe since some work was done (by a previous owner), and I've noticed that I have to pull quite a bit of main slide to reach A=440.
