Are you putting to any use beyond the practice room? I sense you are denigrating a job that you may be very well suited for. Lose the weight and go for it, than you have room to opine on the subject. 6 1/2 octaves is impressive, but what is more impressive is a tuba player who can make astounding music out of the tuba part to the DoD National Anthem. Think about it.
