I have a silver 2341 and now that I got the first valve lapped I really like it. I got it from Dave Fedderly, Baltimore Brass, and was there this past Saturday. Right now he has 20 of them in stock, both silver and lacquer. I played 4 of them on Saturday and felt that they were all pretty consistent. I really liked the valves on all of them. I think he is selling them for less than $4,200. I currently have an Altieri bag but am selling that back to Dave because I just ordered a Cronkhite bag, for $250.00. Glen Cronkhite told me yesterday that if he doesn't start selling more he will have to close up the shop. That would be a real loss for many brass players. He is the only one who makes a good bag that fits the 2341.
