It was on a B&S PT 6. I think the original linkage is called a "Ball and Socket" linkage. Well, I broke one of the balls off, and the balls (think trailer hitch ball, but much smaller)that were available locally didn't fit quite right. Instead of waiting for a new "Ball" from custom music I decided that it was time to upgrade to miniballs.

Long story short, I do have the original ball and socket linkages. I will not be selling my new liknages because I hope to install them someday. But, because my "home made" linkages works so well, I am in no hurry.

I doubt the B&S linkages will work well as a replacement for "S" linkages.
