1. I would have to say as an unaccompanied solo, Penderecki's Cappriccio is the most fascinating piece of work I've heard. The first time I heard it was performed by a friend of mine and he is awesome! That's what made me like it I think.
2. I would have to agree with the Gregson... it's just so awesome... especially the 3rd movement! It show's the players ability to play beautifully all over the place.
