You prompted me to look at www.thein-brass.com. Hendrik-Jan Remes plays on a Thein-C(CC)tuba, and there is a sound clip on Ben van Djick's(sp)(Fellow Rotterdam Philharmonics' bass trombonist) NANA c.d. It is a nice solo, and he has a very warm, full sound. You ought to check it out. I would like a Thein CC tuba also, but they are very expensive.
