My Altieri gig bag is very well-made, sturdy and padded quite well. It has a carrying handle, a shoulder strap, and backpack-style shoulder straps. Everything is quite adjustable, and it is comfortable to use and carry. It also has large pockets for carrying a lot of stuff. I sometimes carry (simultaneously): mouthpiece, music, music stand, oil, clothespins, tuner, metronome, towel, bottled water, paperback novel, scarf.

It is a top loading bag, which is less convenient for loading & unloading the tuba, but I would rather deal with that than deal with a zipper; I think the tuba protection this way is better. There is an additional cover for the bell that adds a bit more padding. The top is closed by a drawstring with some sort of spring-loaded stopping device. I don't trust that stopper device, so I always tie a quick knot also. [Your sailor skills may vary.]

I would buy another one.
