Thanks for the very thoughtful post. I believe I am in agreement with it just about 100%. Our orchestras ARE worth saving. They are among our nation's treasures. However, they, as with most anything else, must adapt or they will be gone. I'm afraid I don't know what our plan should be, but we certainly need to have one.
