I stand by my earlier comments, but Tabor sparked a thought when he said to write down your agreement and cover your tail...

I hate wishy washy accompanists who don't flat out say what they charge. It is their responsibility to set the price and decide if it is negotiable after you 've had a chance to digest that information. As much as your situation is sticky, it is a little bit nice to see that this person has some fortitude when it comes to business dealings. If she is a student, she will learn from this and other situations. If she is older, then who knows?

Look inside yourself and find three things. One is what you want to do. One is what she wants you to do, and finally one is the right thing to do. Do that, even if it is hard.

You could also go back to her and while treaeting her with respect talk this out and come to a compromise.
