Henry Distin made brass instruments. He worked in Williamsport, PA. I happen to have an E-flat Distin tuba. It is not a Saxhorn. It is very beautiful. It has a bright silver finish that lasts to this day, despite the fact that it is more than 100 years old. The scrollwork is phenominal. Check out the Didtin tuba on Jim Self's web site.
