Yamaha YFB822 For Sale
I have a silver plated, piston valve Yamaha YFB822 F tuba for sale. It's in good condition, has a main tuning slide trigger built by Robb Stewart, and plays really well. The low register on this instrument is great.
Cosmetically, there are a few small dents and some scratches just below where the bell attaches to the bottom bow. None of these are things that affect how the horn plays or responds, but I want to be clear that it isn't cosmetically perfect.
I want $5700.00 for this instrument, including a hard case and Chronkite (Reunion Blues) gig bag. I will consider any reasonable offers.
In case you are curious, the reason I am selling this great instrument is to get a German-style rotary F tuba, probably a B&S PT10. I want an F tuba that has a very different color of sound than my B&S PT-6P CC tuba, and the Yamaha is not quite the sound I want.
